Irene Turk Fenster passed away peacefully on May 18, 2022, at the age of 95. She was a Tulsa native who was devoted to her late husband, Irving. She graduated from the University of Tulsa and was a life-long Tulsa resident. Irene is survived by her 3 children: George Fenster (Marcie) of North Potomac, MD; David Fenster (Sheela) of Ahmednagar, India; Paula Fenster Brust of Santa Rosa, CA; grandchildren Ellen Canton (Mike), Amman Fenster (Stephanie), Sam Fenster, Adeem Fenster (Aakanksha), Jared Fliesler and Emily Fenster (Lisa); great grandchildren Coletrane Canton, Anaya Fenster, Ashriya Fenster, Sahana Fenster and Avyan Fenster. Over the last few years Irene was warmly cared for and loved by her caregivers who became her friends.

Irene's fondest memory was of meeting and playing with Shirley Temple as a young child. Irene LOVED tennis and bridge. She was a devoted worker and volunteer to numerous charities and charitable activities, including B'nai Emunah, United Jewish Appeal, and the Zarrow Health Center.

Graveside services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, May 24 at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 4161 East Admiral Place, Tulsa, OK. Donations in her memory should go to Planned Parenthood of Oklahoma.
