Obituary

Jack L. McNulty, Jr. passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026. Born September 30, 1935, in Oklahoma City, he moved with his family to Tulsa as a young child and called it home for the rest of his life.

Jack graduated from Holy Family in 1953, where he met his future wife, Eleanor Ann Forde, a fellow Holy Family 1955 graduate. They were married for 58 years before her death in 2017. He went on to graduate from Saint Louis University (Go Billikens!) before graduating law school at the University of Tulsa.

After earning his Juris Doctorate, Jack built a long legal career focused on oil and gas and real estate law. He also gave generously of his time through pro bono work, offering guidance and counsel to those in need.

Even though Jack truly enjoyed going on fishing trips with his brother and his buddies, traveling with Eleanor and his brother in-law and sister in-law, and even sharing his gift for singing as a longtime member of the Holy Family Choir, his true passion was practicing law.

In his younger years, Jack patiently coached his daughter's softball team and spent countless hours/days watching his sons play football and attending wrestling duels and tournaments. He is also a past President of the Tulsa Junior Wrestling Association.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Jack L. and Blanche ("Tommy") McNulty, and his wife, Eleanor (Forde) McNulty.

He is survived by his brother, Mike (Nancy) McNulty of Tulsa; his four children, Kathleen (Gina) McNulty of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Dr. Jerry (Sheree) McNulty, Tim (Barbi) McNulty, and Terrence (Lori) McNulty, all of Tulsa; his brother in-law Charlie (Betty) Forde of St. Charles, Missouri; his niece Christine Forde of Albuquerque, New Mexico: his nephew Joe Forde of St. Charles, Missouri: six grandsons; two granddaughters; and two great-grandsons.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Holy Family Cathedral located at 820 S. Boulder Ave, Tulsa, OK
