Obituary

Jackie Louise O'Brien passed away March
28, 2011, after a short illness. She was born
Jackie Louise Taylor in Hominy, Oklahoma
on July 31, 1928, to Osage County ranchers,
Carl Taylor and Mae Allen Taylor. Jackie
used her ranching knowledge in her work
at the Tulsa Stockyards where she met
Martin Joseph O'Brien. Jackie and Martin
married in 1958 and raised four children in
Tulsa. Known for her giving spirit and gift
of gab, Jackie was a long time Avon representative
and a devoted member of Centenary
United Methodist Church where
she contributed countless hours of service.
She was also a Cub Scout and Girl Scout
leader. Jackie was predeceased in death
by her parents and her two sisters, Carla
Moore and Emma Bell Gray. She is survived
by her husband Martin O'Brien, son
Marty O'Brien, son Carl and his wife Michele
O'Brien, son David and his wife Julie
O'Brien, all of Tulsa, and daughter Shelly
O'Brien Yeatts and her husband William of
Dallas, Texas. Jackie was a grandmother of
nine and a great grandmother of one.

Services
will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday,
March 31, 2011, at Centenary United Methodist
Church, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

be made in Jackie's name to Centenary

Tulsa, Oklahoma 74106 or to M.D. Anderson
