GRICE, Jim, 86, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2011 in Tulsa, OK. He was born October 3, 1924 in Picayune, MS to Michael and Josie Harvey Grice who preceded him in death. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force. Jim Grice will always be remembered for his kindness, his big heart and his warm smile. A southern gentleman, dedicated Father, and grandfather, and inspiration to all who knew him.

His love for the city of Tulsa involved him in numerous civic organizations. He was also a co-founder and member of Asbury United Methodist Church. He will be greatly missed by family and friends who share and celebrate this wonderful man and his life.

He is survived by; daughters, Kay Myers and husband Royce, Tulsa, OK and Gaylynn McBrayer and husband Scott, Dallas, TX; and grandchildren, Madelyn and Spencer Myers, both of Tulsa, OK.

The family will receive friends 4:00pm – 7:00pm Monday, January 17, 2011 at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel and Service will be held 2:00pm Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Asbury United Methodist Church, Bill Mason Chapel.
