James H. (Jimmy) Roberts
July 22, 1945 - June 9, 2013

Jimmy was born July 22, 1945 in Indianapolis. As a member of a large catholic clan, Jimmy was the third generation in his family to attend St. Anthony grade school in Indianapolis. He graduated from Christ the King Grade School, and Bishop Miege High School in Kansas City, Kansas.

When the family relocated to Tulsa, Jimmy put his retail management experience into play, as the assistant manager of the Brook Theatre, while it was under the auspices of the American Theatre Company.

Everyone who came into contact with Jimmy respected his gracious and strong spirit as well as his kindness towards everyone.

His dedication to his work showed his love for the ATC family. Along with feelings for theatre, he had tremendous enthusiasm for sports, football and basketball in particular. But it was in his beloved nieces and nephews where he found his greatest joy. Each one held a special place in his heart like they were his own children.

He was a well-rounded man, loving greatly and feeling that love returned by so many. We shall miss him terribly.

His parents, Martha and Harold Roberts and his younger brother, Danny, preceded him in death. His sister Kitty Roberts, brothers Tom Roberts- wife Yuki and John Roberts- wife Deborah survive him. Sister in-law Linda Roberts, Nephews Christopher Roberts, Ryan Roberts, Sean Roberts and Stephen Spence, Nieces Jessica Spence and Morgan Roberts.
