Obituary
James K. "Jim" Hays, of Tulsa, passed away February 8, 2011. He was born June 21, 1937 to James E. and Waonita Hays in Sedalia, MO.
Jim graduated from St. Joseph's College in Rensselaer, IN and The University of Kansas. He spent his entire career as an exploration geologist, first with Texaco, and for the last 35 years with Sullivan and Company.
He is survived by his children Kathleen Hoey, and husband Paul, Jim Hays Jr. and wife Becky, Mike Hays and wife Christy, Mary Hays, and Sharon Geris and husband Mark. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many other family and friends.
Rosary will be 5 PM, Sunday, February 13, at Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel and Funeral Mass will be 10 AM, Monday, February 14, at Holy Family Cathedral.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations and memorials be made to Saint Simeon's Episcopal Home.
