James Richard "Jim" Moomaw, 66, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014. He was born on June 8, 1947 in Hastings, NE to Donald and Rose Moomaw. He was raised in Coffeyville, KS where he attended Holy Name School, Field Kindley High School, and Coffeyville Community College. He graduated from the University of Kansas College of Pharmacy, and served the profession in various capacities for many years. He retired from May's Drug Stores where he served as vice-president of operations. Jim is survived by his wife Patty, his son Ryan of Tulsa, and his step-daughter Lisa Moody and her husband Adam of Jenks. Cherished siblings include his brother Donald Moomaw (Nancy) of Coffeyville, KS, and his sisters Nancy Hummel (Louie) of Coffeyville, KS, and Kay Swadley (Bob) of Marshall, TX. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 10, 2014 at the Church of St. Mary, 1347 E. 49th Pl., Tulsa, OK 74105. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Church of St. Mary.
