James T. "Jim" Umbarger, 88, passed away July 26, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital. He was born April 10, 1934 in Sioux Valley, MN to Max and Lillie (Schroeder) Umbarger. Jim retired as a Neuro-Psychiatric Specialist with Sandoz Pharmaceutical. He served in the USAF for four years. Jim graduated from Lake Park High School and then later from Morningside College, Sioux City, IA. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors are his wife of 67 years Tootie (Marlene Graff ) Umbarger, son and his wife, Ted and Melinda Umbarger, grandchildren, Nick and Rachel Umbarger all of Tulsa, OK. Sister and her husband, William and Barbara Browne, Gladwyne, PA. and their daughters Sheila and Barbara Kay. Niece, Sr. Marie Therese Long, St. Joseph Monastery and her parents James and Geraldine Long all of Tulsa, OK. And a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
