We come together to celebrate the life and honor the memory of Jason Kelley Harvey. A man known for his adventurous spirit and loving heart. Born on October 2nd, 1970, in Tulsa Oklahoma to Gerald and Barbara Harvey. Jason's journey through life was as vibrant and daring as the world allowed. On March 2nd, 2025, Jason passed in Tulsa surrounded by the Oklahoma landscapes he'd come to love.
Jason was a man whose life was marked by the close relationships he cultivated and the passions he pursued with unbridled enthusiasm. Raised in Tulsa Oklahoma, North Little Rock Arkansas, St. Charles Missouri, and Aurora Colorado, Jason was a proud graduate of Union High School in the class of 1989. His youth laid the foundation for a life filled with ambition and a strong sense of family. In 2004, Jason married Karen Harvey, and they started their life with their son, Justin Kelley Harvey.
Professionally, Jason made his mark as a skilled ski instructor, mental health counselor and talented welder. His fearless approach to life inspired many as he guided and mentored countless individuals that experienced the same struggles Jason went through. Jason's legacy is one of courage, camaraderie and the pure love and joy of life.
Jason's presence was a beacon of light and joy for those who knew him, for many years. His laughter was infectious, his advice was solid and his ability to listen and truly hear made him a confidant to many. Jason lived a life with an open heart., embracing every day as an opportunity to make memories and pursue his dreams.
Jason was preceded in death by his brother, David Michael Harvey, several grandparents, aunts and uncles and infant daughter, Kyla Nicole. Jason is survived by his parents, Gerald and Barbara Harvey, His son, Justin Kelley Harvey, two brothers, Steven Harvey and Scott Harvey, countless cousins, family and friends that love him dearly.
As we say goodbye to Jason, we reflect on a life well-lived, a life that was full of passion, adventure, and love. His spirit will continue to soar in the hearts of those he touched and the memories he created will serve as a guiding force for all who were fortunate enough to know him. Jason's journey on earth may have concluded, but the legacy of his vibrant spirit will continue to inspire and guide us for generations to come.
