JEAN DONNELL SKALLAMay 14,1919 - October 16, 2019
Long time Tulsa resident Jean Skalla, age 100, passed away on October 16, 2019. She was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on May 14, 1919 and moved to Tulsa at age thirteen.
She graduated from Tulsa Central in 1937, later attended business college and worked as a legal secretary prior to her marriage. Jean was very active and lived in her home until shortly before her death.
Jean was a devoted Mother to her four children - Carol Morgan (Gary), Steve Skalla (Brenda), John Skalla (Cathy) and Susan Knack (Mike) and a thoughtful and generous Grandmother to her seven Grandchildren and twelve Great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of sixty-two years, Clarence J. Skalla, her parents Charles M. Williamson and Bessie Magee Williamson, and Brother Charles L. Williamson.
A graveside service will be held at Calvary Cemetery at 2 PM on Tuesday, October 22, 2019. Monsignor Gregory Gier of Holy Family will officiate
