Jeanette S. Friedl, 91, died on September 19, 2017. She was born June 23, 1926 in Hollywood, CA, the daughter of Lawrence and Mary Edith Smith. She was a graduate of Lord Byng High School, Vancouver, BC, Canada, and St. Paul's Hospital School of Laboratory Technique, Renton, WA. Jeanette was married to the love of her life, Frank Thomas Friedl, for 57 years. He preceded her in death in 2007. A longtime homemaker, she was dedicated to her family, her music, art and pets.
She is survived by nine children: Tim Friedl and Virginia Newton, Sandi and Roy Rogers, Kathy and Gary Sebert, Margaret Friedl, Lynette and Arthur Barber II, Dr. John and Kari Friedl, Philip Friedl and Dr. JoAnn Ryan, Drs. Frances and Chris Dombrowski, Christina and T.R. Iyer, 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends during visitation at the funeral home from 4:00PM-6:00PM on Friday, September 22, and a celebration of her life will be held at 10AM on Saturday, September 23, both at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel.
