With a heavy heart - but in joyful remembrance for what she meant to so many that knew and loved her - we announce the peaceful passing of Jeanne Willard Holmes on October 7, 2025 at the age of 83 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Jeanne was born to Karl Porter "K.P." and Helen Willard in Fort Smith, Arkansas on December 5, 1941. After growing up in Fort Smith, she attended Hollins College in Roanoke, Virginia for one year before graduating from Oklahoma State University.

Often described as an "anchor of strength" to many, her life was dedicated to a strong Christian faith and unique gifts in serving others in ways that left eternal marks. Everyone who knew Jeanne spoke of her generosity, spirit of kindness and special love for family and friends. To her, no one was truly a stranger - only a new opportunity for connection and fellowship.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Karl Porter Willard Jr; second husband, Daniel Perkins Holmes; first husband, Ronald Everett Biggs; daughter, Kathy Diane Biggs; stepson, Kilton Gwartney Holmes; and sister, Linda Willard Black.

She is survived by her son, Mike Biggs (Tiffany) of Dallas, Texas; niece, Lisa Johnson (David) of Fayetteville, Arkansas; nephew, Lee Sutherland (Cindy) of Fort Smith, Arkansas; stepdaughter, Kendal Berry (Keith) of Panama City Beach, Florida; and grandchildren Chase Biggs, Ellie Bright, Blake Holmes and Bryce Holmes.

While she was preparing to leave this world for her eternal home, Jeanne enjoyed the time God gave her for phone calls, notes and visits from family and friends. She will be buried in Tulsa beside her beloved Dan and Kathy in a private family graveside service.
