Jeanne Rae McCarty, a caring wife to J. Michael McCarty, and a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend, passed into eternity with Jesus Christ on February 4, 2022. Jeanne was born in Sydni, Nebraska on November 29, 1937, to Jack and Dorothy. She graduated high school in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Afterward she married, where she gave birth to Robin and Jodee. Jeanne then moved to Tulsa where she remarried giving birth to Randy and Lindsey. She worked for Shell Oil Company for a short time and settled at Holland Hall School where for more than two decades she was their business manager. On February 15, 1984 Jeanne married J. Michael who has two children, Kelli and Patrick. She is survived by her husband, 6 children,15 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Jeanne loved sewing, wallpapering, gardening, traveling, and just sitting on her back porch with her husband and family and friends. She was a skilled piano teacher for many years of her life. A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 PM on February 10, 2022 at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home located at 3612 East 91st Street South, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Visitation is set for Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM for family and friends. Flowers are welcome at Fitzgerald Funeral Home.
