Fortified by the last rights of the Holy Catholic Church: Jeffrey Michael Morris, age 52, died of complex medical conditions on August 12 2016 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was surrounded by his family. Jeff is survived by his beloved wife, Lisa Jackman Morris, his son Christopher Morris, his mother Sandra Riffe Morris Newport, and siblings: Amy Heil, Leslie D. Morris, Daniel Morris, Uncle "Bill" Massad, cousins: "Will" Massad, Jack Daily, Jamie Atkinson, Brad Johnson, and too many other Aunts, Uncles, and cousins to mention.

He is preceded in death by his late grandparents, Allene and Ed Riffe, his brother Marc Morris, stepfather W.E. Morris, and biological father, Thomas Ward. Jeff was the third child born to Thomas Daniel Ward and Sandra Riffe Morris Newport on February 10th 1964. He was raised by his loving mother and stepfather.

Jeff Morris really knew how to enjoy life and was a dedicated and tremendously hard worker. Jeff started work under his stepfather at Murray Womble. Then started a great career. He worked in construction, surveying, Fiber Optics, as well as CAD drafting/design in the Oil and Gas Industries. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his many friends from Jenks High School and Oklahoma State University. Jeff will be most remembered for his out of the ordinary sense of humor, his genuine long term friendships, and his love and passion for his family. He also had a great ability to look on the bright side of life.

A funeral service for Jeff will be held at Resurrection Catholic Church, 4804 S . Fulton Ave Tulsa,OK. Tuesday Aug. 16th at 10:30 am

A visitation service with family, viewing of photos, followed by a Rosary, will be held at Fitzgerald's Southwood Colonial Chapel, 3612 E 91st St. Tulsa, OK 74137.
