Jerrel (Jerry) Maynard Atkinson passed away peacefully on January 19, 2022 in Elk City, OK.
He was born on May 20, 1964, and was the oldest child of Martha Riffe and James Atkinson, who both preceded him in death. He is survived by his two younger brothers, James and Bennett, their families, his stepmother, Zehra Atkinson, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jerry was a graduate of Jenks High School and Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology in Okmulgee.
He loved music, art, and reading. He also enjoyed his career as a draftsman for both BDB and Horizon Engineering in Tulsa.
Services will be held on February 22, 2022 at the Catholic Church of St. Mary, 1347 E. 49th Pl., Tulsa. Rosary will begin at 12:30 with the funeral service following at 1:00PM. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
