Jo Ann Di Santo passed to the next life on January 25, 2024. Born Giovanna Ciaralli on March 14, 1947. She was called many things, "Jo", mom, ma, mother, grandma, gma, Aunt JoAnn, Mrs. D. She was born in the small village of Cerchio, in the Abruzzi Region of Italy. She immigrated to the United States in 1959 with her family and they made a life for themselves here. Our mother married the great love of her life, our father, Giovanni (John) Di Santo in 1968.
Jo Ann Di Santo is preceded in death by her husband, John Di Santo; her parents, Giuseppe and Elena Ciaralli; her siblings, Frank, Maria and Pasquale Ciaralli. Jo Ann is survived by her children, Stephanie Shumaker (Michael Shumaker), Joseph Di Santo (Michelle Di Santo), and Monica Di Santo (Mikel Conley); grandchildren, Sean, Matthew and Leonardo Shumaker; Aaron Di Santo, Elena and Luke Welch; sisters and brothers in law, Angelo and Angie Di Santo, Theresa and Peter LaMacchia, Grace Di Santo; Rose Ciaralli; numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
