John Christopher Anderson
ANDERSON – John Christopher, 41, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2012. He was born April 27, 1971 in Pampa, TX to John H. and Mary Ann Anderson. He graduated from Jenks High School in 1989 and attended Oklahoma State University, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He was contributor to fund raising events for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation-Sooner Chapter. He will be remembered as fighting a valiant battle with Cystic Fibrosis. Chris had a liver transplant 1997 and a kidney transplant 2002 at Integris Baptist Medical Center, Oklahoma City, OK and was an excellent ambassador for the benefits of organ donation. The family is grateful for the care given to John Chris by Dr. John C. Kramer and Dr. T.L. Carey and the nurses on 7 West at St. John Medical Center for the last 35 year battle with Cystic Fibrosis, and the intensive and caring care given by the ICU doctors and nurses and respiratory therapists during his last battle from complications of Cystic Fibrosis. John Chris will always be remembered as a caring and gentle person. John Chris is survived by; his parents of Tulsa, OK; brother, John Joseph Anderson and wife, Julie, Loveland, OH; sister, Mary Jolene Johnson and husband, Trevor, Frisco, TX; nephews, Josiah Michael Anderson, Matthias Christopher Anderson and Isaiah Patrick Anderson; nieces, Emily Lynn Anderson, Rosemary Anne Anderson and Emma Kate Johnson. He was preceded in death by; his brother, John Michael Anderson. In lieu of flowers, please offer memorials to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation-Sooner Chapter, 2642 E. 21st St., Ste.100, Tulsa, OK 74114. Visitation 6:00-7:00 p.m., Monday, August 6, 2012 followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. both at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Church of the Resurrection.
