During this time, he and his wife raised their kids and he introduced them to his love of concerts, traveling and good food- spending every second he could with his family traveling the country in his 40-foot motor home and going out on his boat. In 2012, he unfortunately suffered a heart attack and subsequent brain injury that kept him closer to home, although he did still go on a few more beloved RV trips.
