John Wayne Henry, 55, of Tulsa, Oklahoma died on Sunday, June 14, 2020.
John was born on April 30, 1965, in Rogers, Arkansas, the son of Delmar and Carol (Jones) Henry.
He worked at Calvary Cemetery, in Tulsa, and loved caring for the grounds there. He enjoyed making the place where so many are laid to rest, more beautiful. John had a kind, and caring heart. He was a hard worker, and was always willing to help those that needed a hand. John had a fun side. He was a jokester, and loved seeing people smile, and making them laugh. He will be missed by all who knew him.
John loved the Arkansas Razorbacks, watching NASCAR races, and enjoyed the outdoors, especially when fishing and camping.
He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Amanda Redman, other family members include; Bill and Sharon Henry, Hana, Kyle and Candance Henry, Dennis and Cathy Henry, Dorothy and Buford Holley, Roger and Cathy Martin, Larry Howell, Christy Wagoner, Amber Bailey, Valerie Armstrong, Cecil, Benny, Aaron, Chris, and Kelly Henry, 11 nieces and nephews and many other extended family members, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Delmar Henry, mother, Caroline "Carol" Henry, son Edward Redman, and sisters, Pam Beal, and Bettie Sue Howard.
A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, June 27 at Vera Full Gospel Fellowship Church, Vera, Oklahoma.
