Obituary

John Lee "Jack" Krafft, 85, died on June 26th in his home surrounded by his family. Jack was born on August 17th, 1929, in Springfield, Missouri. He attended Saint Francis grade school and Marquette High School in Tulsa. He and his wife Dolores married young and started their family. He retired from Rainbo Baking company in 1992 where he was a route salesman for 43 years. Jack was a man of true integrity and commitment. He valued hard work, honesty, and respect for his fellow man. He was genuinely interested in others, a great conversationalist, frequent joke teller, and occasionally one to stir up the conversation. He loved to spend time with his family. During his younger years he was a frequent volunteer and coach. He and his wife loved to dance and were fun to watch on the dance floor. He enjoyed the annual family camping trip: canoeing, fishing and spending time together. He will be remembered for his easy smile, laughter, optimism, and love for his wife and family. Those who knew him describe him as a truly great man. Jack was a devout Catholic, a devoted husband and father, grandpa, great grandpa, uncle, and friend. He and his wife Dolores were active in Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church and Bishop Kelley, where their 12 children attended school. He is proceeded in death by the love of his life and wife of 69 years Dolores, two of his brothers Bill and Bob Krafft, and sisters Betty Shelton and Sister Jane Krafft. He is survived by his children and their spouses: John and Ulli Krafft, Mike and Judy Krafft, Don and Peg Krafft, Denny and Vicki Krafft, Larry and Liz Krafft, Randy and Cathy Krafft, Rob and Cindy Krafft, Rick and Pam Krafft, Kristi Krafft, Patti Krafft, Debbi and Chris Beichler, Shari Krafft, his 30 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
