KELLY, John H., 77. John died after a long journey of prostate cancer. He was born January 10, 1933 in Ogdensburg, New York to Charlotte Monaghan and Lauris E. Kelly. After serving in the Army, he graduated from Indiana University in 1957 with a degree in Marketing. He married Ruth Meyers in 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was employed by Texaco Inc. and received many promotions in his 37 years with the company. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Betty Heaton, and brother, Lauris F. Kelly. He is survived by his wife, Ruth, and his five children; Helen and husband Dan Biller of De Moines, Iowa, Kathleen and husband Ed Wells of Highland Village, Texas, John and wife Deborah of Enid, Oklahoma, Sean Kelly of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Colleen and husband Brian Terry of Plano, Texas. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren; Laura and Kimberly Biller, Eileen Wells, Caitlin, John, Emilia and Alan Kelly and Rachel and Jenna Terry. He enjoyed his lake house at Grand Lake, boating, gardening, bird watching, reading, traveling, wood refinishing and most of all, spending time with his family. He will be remembered for making his family laugh with his great Irish wit and storytelling.
