John Joseph Nickel, 70, of Broken Arrow, OK, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025 at Village Healthcare Center after a long neurological illness. John was born in Darby, PA to Charles and Mary Patricia "Pat" Nickel (Linahan)on November 17, 1954 - the third of their five children.

John was capable of just about anything - he was highly intelligent as well as mechanically capable - but it was his sense of humor that endeared him to everyone who knew him, from family and friends to coworkers, John was always ready with a joke, witty remark, or silly face. His family will carry his terrible action movie star impressions with them for the rest of their lives.

John is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his siblings: brother Charles (Karen) Nickel; sisters Maripat (Wayne) Perram, Margie (John) Bode, and Gina (John) Godfrey; his children: daughter, Natalie (Andrew) Campbell; son Patrick (Hailey) Nickel and son Michael Nickel; his two grandchildren Benjamin and Rory; and many, many nieces and nephews.
