José Marcos Mercado-Solis passed away on March 9, 2020 at the age of 55.

Visitations will be at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel Friday March 13th from 9am-5pm and Saturday March 14th from 9am- 12pm.

Funeral services will be held 1:00pm on Monday March 16, 2020 at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel with the pastor Elmer Rodriguez of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church officiating.   Burial will follow at Calvary cemetery.

Jose Marcos Mercado- Solis was born in Zacapuato, Guerrero to Adan And Delfina Mercado on April 25, 1964. He resided in a Tulsa, Ok for over 35 years. He was known as "La Tonja" to everyone. He had many friends and made new friends wherever he went. He had a contagious smile! Always happy and laughing. He was a talented musician in his youth and enjoyed listening to music on cassette tapes on his beloved oversized boom box. And, he said he was never going to upgrade. His pastimes included the outdoors and fishing; He enjoyed watching his favorite soccer team Águilas de la America, never missing a match. The same can be said about the LA Lakers as they were also a must see for him.

Jose Marcos is preceded in death by his father, Adan Mercado and brother Octavio Mercado.

Jose Marcos is survived by the mother of his 5 children, Susana Santin., his children Cristal and Rene Jacobo, Eduardo and Vanessa Hernandez, Marisol Mercado, Marco and Lupita Mercado, Miguel and Lissette Mercado., his brothers Jesus, Jose, Rene, Carlos, his sisters Amparo, Eloisa, Julia, Rosa, Maria. His mother,Delfina Solis.  His grandchildren, Alyssa, Alexis, Alejandra, Addyson, Luis, Giovanni, Cristian, Valeria, Dulce, Julio, Sabrina, Abigail, Amy, Brian, Anneliese, Adrian, Anabell, with another on the way.
