HARDT, Josef Peter, 82, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2009 in Tulsa, OK. He was born April 14, 1927 in Oberhausen, Rhineland, Germany to Peter Josef Hardt and Gertrude Nell Hardt. He came to New York in 1951. His career was in broadcasting, retiring as the manager of commercial productions at Channel 2 in 1993. He worked in Theater Tulsa, television and film production and was one of the founders of Tulsa's Oktoberfest, where he became known as Mr. Oktoberfest, and the German-American Society of Tulsa and was also the host of Fantastic Theater. He was preceded in death by, his parents; and wife; Anneliese in 1994. He is survived by, daughter; Karena Hardt, Tulsa, OK and grandchild; Jessica Ruecker, Cologne, NRW, Germany.
