Joyce Rita Wilson, 85, passed
away February 25, 2012. Joyce was
born on May 18, 1926 in Tulsa, OK
to Joseph and Nona Dennehy and
was married to Robert A. Wilson
for 48 years.
Joyce was an x-ray technician at St. John's Hospital, homemaker, and devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Home Extension, Catholic Family Movement, and along with her husband Bob was a founding member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
Her loving husband Robert and son, Robert A. Wilson, Jr. predeceased her. She is survived
by her daughters Kathleen Huntington (Jon), Joanne Pearson (Ron), Trisha Whittaker, Mary Shook (Jonathan), and son Tim
Wilson (Randi). Grandchildren are Matt and Casey Wilson, Erin McKinney, Sarah Huntington, Katie, Mary Beth, and Ellen Pearson, Sammy Whittaker, Emily, Claire, and Joseph Shook, Natalie and Elizabeth Wilson;
great-grandchildren Hayden
and Cianna McKinney.
Mom, you were a loving and gentle soul. Your kind and caring ways were and continue to be an inspiration to all who were blessed to know and love you.
Rosary will be Monday, February 27, 2012 at 7 pm, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 11 am, at
Sts. Peter and Paul.
In lieu of flowers, donations
may be made to the Fr. Jorge Gomez
and Deacon Stanley Kariuki Scholarship Fund through Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School.
