Juanita Manzo, age 77, died on December 23, 2024, in Tulsa, OK.
Juanita was born on July 6, 1947, in Frontera, Tabasco, to parents Olga Magana and Juan Bedoy. She graduated from High School and began working in the banking field. On January 29, 1966, she married Jorge Manzo, and they made their home in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. The family moved to the United States in 1977. Juanita spent most of her life running her Mexican restaurant in Jenks, OK. She enjoyed gardening, watching her novelas and was an avid soccer fan of Club America! Her love language was cooking everyone's favorite meals. Her family and friends will always remember her as a great chef with a caring and loving heart.
She is survived by her four children: Monica Manzo, Jorge R. Manzo, Claudia Cepeda and her husband Freddy, and Nathaniel Manzo and his wife Whitney. Juanita had 4 grandchildren, Gabriela Tobey and her husband Austin, Antonio Cepeda, Robert Manzo, and Eric Manzo.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother Carmela Magana, her mother Olga Magana and her sister Maria del Carmen Narvaez.
A rosary is scheduled at 12:30 PM on Thursday January 2, 2025, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church followed by mass at 1:00PM. There will be a light reception after the mass.
Juanita requested for guests to wear bright colors or polka dots to the services and avoid dark somber clothing.
