Obituary

Judith A. Heldmann, age 87, passed away on February 2, 2025 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born in December of 1937 in Waterbury, Connecticut to Harold and Phoebe Johnson. Judy graduated from Mount Saint Joseph Academy High School in the class of 1956, then furthered her education by graduating from Bay Path College.

After graduating college. Judy began dating the love of her life, and future husband, Joe Heldmann. They married in October of 1959. In the next 5 years, Joe and Judy had four children, Joe, Susan, Laura, and Tom. Judy was a wife and mother devoting her entire life to her husband and children. She was the heart of our home and family.

Judy was a Tulsa Master Gardner and she and Joe utilized their skills to help others. She volunteered for many years at Southcrest Hospital, where she made life long friends. Judy also enjoyed playing bridge with her many friends. However, her greatest joy was being "Gandy" to her six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She played a very active role in their lives and attended all their activities.

Her friends and family will remember Judy as loving, caring, and selfless. Everyone that met her loved her kindness, her smile and her laugh.

Judy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Hollie of Bixby, her daughter-in-law, Lori Heldmann Richreek of Bixby, her daughter and son -in-law, Susan and Mike Dimond of Edmond, OK, her daughter, Laura of Broken Arrow, and her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Elizabeth of Bixby; six grandchildren, Trey and wife Brittany, Bradley and fianc�e Jordan, Katie and husband Jake, Sarah, John and wife Abby, and Nicholas; 3 great grandchildren Joe IV, Jackson, and Lona; her brother Harold "Butch" and his wife Grace.
Judy is preceded in death by her husband Joe of 50 years, her parents, Harold and Phoebe Johnson, and brother Bill.

A private family funeral is scheduled for February 6, 2025 at 11am at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel.
