Judy Dragon, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and lifelong educator, passed away peacefully at home on June 27, 2025.

Born in Pasadena, California, Judy was the second of five Richards sisters. She was a proud graduate of Los Gatos High School and San Jose State University, and cherished her time at the University of Oregon's Clark Honors College and Alpha Omicron Pi sorority.

Judy dedicated 34 years to education, teaching English and serving as a reading specialist and cheerleading advisor at Lynbrook and Oroville High Schools. She was twice named District Teacher of the Year and was deeply admired by students and colleagues.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Lanny Dragon; children Mary Leslie (David) Woo, Ashley (Andrew) Boydstun, and Andre (Jamie) Dragon; and grandchildren Katie, Jerrod, Olivia, Sophia, Tamara, Gabby, Liz, and Vi. She also leaves behind many beloved family members and friends.

A celebration of Judy's life will be held at a future date.
