Julia Maldonado was born on February 16, 1931 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. Ascended to heaven on July 15, 2022 at the age of 91. Julia grew up in Puerto Rico. At an early age she moved to New York, later to Massachusetts, then Orlando, Florida, and finally to Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 2008.

Soon after moving to Tulsa, she and her husband, Carlos became members of Iglesia Hispana Victory. She loved knitting and making all kind of crafts. Julia received Jesus as her Lord and Savior when she was 43 years of age. She used to lead praise and worship at her church in Puerto Rico and also in Orlando, Florida. Julia had a strong Christian faith. For the last 2 years, due to Covid, she and her husband watched her church services online, read the Bible and worshipped the Lord from home.

Julia leaves behind the love of her life, 64 years companion, Carlos, husband and best friend. Julia had 3 children, Edwin, Eugenio (deceased) and Carlos, Jr., as well as 6 grandchildren,
Edwin Jr, Jose Daniel, Brenda, Jennifer, Johanna and Jamilla, and 21 great-grandchildren, plus 1 on the way.

She lived a long fulfilling life, an example of Psalm 91:16 promise: "With long life I will satisfy him (her) and show him (her) my salvation."

A Memorial Service will be at 3 :00 p.m., on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Moore's Southlawn Funeral Home Chapel, 9305 E 51st Street, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.



Julia Maldonado nació el 16 de Febrero de 1931 en Arecibo, Puerto Rico. Ascendiá al cielo el 15 de Julio del 2022 a la edad de 91 años. Julia creció en Puerto Rico. A temprana edad se mudó a Nueva York, luego a Massachusetts; Orlando, Florida y finalmente a Tulsa, Oklahoma en el año 2008.

Tan pronto se mudaron a Tulsa, Julia y su esposo, Carlos se hizieron miembros de la Iglesia Hispana Victory.

Ella amaba coser y crear toda clase de adornos de hilo. Julia recibió a Jesus como su Salvador a la edad de 43 años. En Puerto Rico asi como en Orlando, Julia ayudaba en dirigir los servicios de adoracion de su Iglesia. Julia tenia una gran fe en Jesus. Por los ultimos dos años, debido al Covid, ella y su esposo veian el servicio de la Iglesia en linea, leian la Biblia y alababan al Senor desde su casa.

Julia deja atras al amor de su vida, compañero por 64 años, Carlos, esposo y mejor amigo.
Julia tuvo 3 hijos, Edwin, Eugenio (fallecido) y Carlos, Jr., como Tambien 2 nietos y 4 nietas, Edwin Jr, Jose Daniel, Brenda, Jennifer, Johanna y Jamilla y 21 bisnietos y uno en camino.

Julia vivió una larga y bendecida vida, de acuerdo con la promesa del Salmo 91:16: "Lo saciaré de larga vida, Y le mostraré mi salvación"
