After a long and happy life, Julia Marie Reed died on February 2, 2015.  Born to John and Marie Brady in 1917, Julia was the oldest of six children.

She married the love of her life, Joseph Reed, and moved to Tulsa in the late 1940's.  They were married for fifty years.  The two were long-time members of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

All her life Julie loved art, history, classical music, business news and lively conversation. Julia often said that she had lived a wonderful life in the best of times-certainly not a life and times without challenges-but when life was simpler, less hectic.  She had many friends and counted them as one of life's blessings.  Family was always the center of her world. Julia will be remembered for many qualities, especially her humor and determination.

Julia is survived by: daughter, Julie; son, Paul (wife, Constanza); grandchildren, Kristen (husband, Logan Shafer), Jonathan, and David; and great-grandson Xavier.  She is also survived by her sister, Pat Hannaman, and many nieces and nephews.
