Obituary
Wilberta "June" Sholander was born June 18, 1929 in Spearville, Kansas, to parents Herbert and Margaret Heskamp. She died on August 20, 2018, in Tulsa, at the age of 89.
June and her family moved from Kansas to California while she was a child. She attended and was a graduate of San Diego State University. She was a nurse for over 40 years. June married Ed Sholander (deceased) in July 1950. June moved to Tulsa in 1993. She loved to travel and play bridge with anyone.
She is survived by her six children, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
A vigil service will be at Christ the King Church, 16th and S. Quincy, at 7:00 pm, on Thursday, August 23, 2018, and a Funeral Mass will be at Christ the King, on Friday, August 24, 2018, at 10:00 a.m.
Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Los Angeles, California, on September 15, 2018.
Donations may be made in her name to Clarehouse, 7616 S. Mingo, Tulsa, OK 74133.
