Karen Ann Jackson was the strongest person I ever met. She was a loving wife and incredible mom. She raised 3 boys, homeschooling them all while working a full time job. In the summer of 2009, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer and given 6 months to live. Defying all expectations she lived. She lived to see all 3 of her sons married to beautiful wives. She lived to meet her two grandchildren, finding incredible joy in Karter and Ellis. She lived her life cherishing every day.
After 8 years she won her battle with breast cancer. Today she is free of pain, free of cancer and free of suffering. We know that at this very moment she wears a victor's crown and has seen her enemy defeated. "Death has been swallowed up in victory. Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" 1 Cor 15:54-55
