Katherine "Katie" (O'Connor) Zimmerman, age 85, died on September 7, 2026, in Tulsa, OK.

Katie was born on July 27, 1941, in Tulsa, OK, to parents Jim O'Connor and Frances (Bader) O'Connor. She graduated from Marquette High School in the class of 1959, then furthered her education by obtaining an associate's degree in liberal arts, from Lakewood Community College, White Bear Lake, MN, with further education completed at DePaul University, Chicago, IL in Marketing.

Katie was deeply involved in The Girl Scouts of America for many years of her life. She enjoyed decorating, organizing, taking in stray animals, and her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren. Her family and friends will always remember her as a spunky, positive, fun, loving, & generous person.

She is survived by her sister, Patricia O'Connor, children, Debbie (King) Olson, and Mike King (Karen), grandchildren, Sarah (Anderson) Ikard (Sam), Ryan Anderson, Jordan Olson, Chris Upperman, Madison King, Kassidy King and Scott King, and great-grandchildren, Colton Anderson, Harper Anderson, and Rose Ikard.

She is preceded in death by her husband, C Michael Zimmerman, Jr., her parents, Jim & Frances O'Connor, and her sister, Molly Doll.
