Kay Burton, 90, of Tulsa, Okla., and formerly of Webster Groves, Mo., died Saturday, May 7, two days shy of her 69th wedding anniversary to the love of her life, Marshall Burton. She is survived by four sons and a daughter-in-law, Marshall (Pat) Burton, Barbara Burton, Bill (Mary) Burton, John (Pam) Burton and Michael Burton. She leaves behind 13 wonderful grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Her husband, Marshall, and a son, Douglas, preceded her in death. Kay was active in the Catholic Church in Tulsa at St. Mary's Catholic Church and on behalf of the diocese. She enjoyed sports, swing music, bridge and the Brooklyn Dodgers. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of St. Francis Hospital's Hospice Program, plus wonderful work of caretakers Shawna Gooden and Alex Moore. Viewing will be 10:15a.m. to 10:45a.m. followed by funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11 both at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Family requests memorials be made to St. Francis Hospice.
