Kenneth Joyce Kiser, born October 22, 1940, in Blackwell, Oklahoma, passed away on January 31, 2025. A dedicated professor at Oklahoma State University for nearly 50 years, Ken was passionate about teaching and a lifelong seeker of knowledge.
Ken is survived by his wife, Pam Kiser; daughter, Pam Reding and her husband, Steve; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin, and his grandson, Noah. Ken loved sailing, reading, and had a special fondness for golden retrievers. Known for his warmth and never meeting a stranger, he will be missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of his life will be held on February 7, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Prairie Chapel in Ponca City, Oklahoma. In honor of Ken's vibrant spirit, the family invites guests to wear cheerful, bright colors or a Hawaiian shirt to the celebration of his life. Family and friends can pay tribute to Ken's memory by making a contribution to the Sue Holloway Scholarship Fund at Clarehouse.
