Kenneth Kliesen, 78, of Beggs, OK, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. Visitation will be held at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel on Sunday, April 22nd from 3:00 – 5:00 PM, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 AM, on Monday, April 23rd, at the Calvary Cemetery Chapel.
Kenneth was born on October 17, 1939, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, the son of Claude and Ann (Wehr) Kliesen. He grew up in Oklahoma, and graduated from Holy Family High School in 1958. After graduation, he chose to serve his country as a United States Marine. Prior to his retirement, Ken had worked as a trouble shooter for Public Service Company of Oklahoma.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy "Dottie" Kliesen, of Beggs, OK, daughter, Tammy Lynn Gates, and her husband, Bob, of Corpus Christi, TX, son, Kenneth Kliesen II, and his wife, Lisa, of Tulsa, OK, grandchildren, Tyler Glenn Miller, of McKinney, TX, and Elizabeth Dawn Williams, and her husband, Emrys, of Tulsa, OK, great-grandson, Eli Williams, of Tulsa, OK, sister, Dorothy Lucille Walters, of McKinney, TX, and numerous other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters, Patricia Rose Kliesen and Georgia Pegorsch.
