Obituary
Kenneth Ray Tarr, 72 years old, left this world on May 8, 2019.
Ken was a devoted husband and father. A gentle giant who loved his family immensely and, in return, he meant everything to his family. He will be greatly missed. Ken enjoyed music, sports, reading, traveling and spending time with his kids.
Ken was born on July 31, 1946 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Ray Robert Tarr and Violet (Blankenship) Tarr. He graduated from Coweta High School in 1964. Ken married Bernadette (Starr) Tarr in 1967. They had three children, Julie, Eric and Ray Tarr. He retired from the City of Tulsa in 2003 after 36 years of employment.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Norma McKinney. He is survived by his spouse and children, also, six grandchildren: Anissa, James and Brittany Moore, Kelton, Baylor and Weston Tarr; two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick Church, 4th & Lincoln, Sand Springs, Oklahoma, on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.
