Kerry Mark Raymond, born September 11, 1957, departed this life Sunday, August 19, 2018, surrounded by a host of family members pounding heaven with prayer. Our brother, uncle, and father spent his 60 years in Oklahoma, growing up in midtown Tulsa, attending Will Rogers High School, working a variety of jobs in the construction industry and travelling the country, fixing up cars, keeping a meticulous yard, playing dad to his daughter, and was regarded as the uncle who was born with a wild streak. He leaves behind those who mourn his passing a brother, Darrell Raymond, sisters Mary Beth Lykins and Patty Streets, daughter Ashley Raymond, and many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws, out-laws, and cousins. Kerry made his way through life at his pace and under his terms. For 20 years he made his home in west Tulsa, but in recent years had moved back to his childhood neighborhood living near his two sisters. He spent his last few months being cared by the wonderful staff at The Cottages at Woodland Hills. Kerry is gone but will remain in the minds and hearts of those left behind. He was a treasure to his family. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 23rd, at Calvary Cemetery and he will be laid to rest next to his parents. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.
