Kirk Bryan Edwards passed away on December 22nd, 2014 from cardiac arrest. Kirk was born on April 14th, 1958, in Tulsa, Oklahoma; he was 56. He graduated from Jenks High in 1976. Kirk spent 10 years building homes along side his father with Creative Homes, Inc. In 1992, he decided to make his permanent home in beautiful Northeastern Oklahoma, in the Grand Lake area where he built his log cabin, by hand, from the ground up. In 1995, White Wolf Trading Company was created in the town of Disney, OK as part of his artistic vision and craftsmanship that established him as one of the areas favorite builders and designers of log furniture, decks, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces and some of the most magnificent rock waterfalls on South Grand Lake that will be enjoyed by generations to come. Along with so many of Kirk's endeavors, Disney Islander Coneys was established in 2010; creating a local favorite joint for the thousands of "Rock Crawlers", bass fishermen and visitors of Grand Lake. This earned him the nickname among the locals of "The Hotdog Man", respectably. His death was preceded by his father, Glen Dale Edwards, of Tulsa. He is survived by his mother, Sandra N. Edwards, step-father, Dewey E. Helt, sister, Lisa T. Smith, brother-by-law, John G. Smith, niece, Jennifer Renee Bennett and her husband Dustin Wayne Bennett; Kirk's nephew, James Gannon Brooks; as well as his great niece and nephew Zoey Belle and Boston Wayne Bennett; all from the Tulsa area. His memorial service will be held Saturday, January 31st at 1:00 PM at the Southwood Colonial Chapel in Tulsa, 3612 E. 91st Street South.
