Larry Stephen Leak passed from this life on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at the age of 60 years in Tulsa, OK. Larry was born in Tulsa, OK to Glenn and Lillie (Mizera) Leak on November 7, 1953. He was the second of four boys, born to Glenn and Lillie. Reared in Tulsa, Larry loved dogs which began at a young age, time was spent with the dogs going on bird hunting trips with his dad and brothers. He also played little league baseball, and basketball during his childhood. Music was a passion of Larry's and he began playing guitar as a teen. In time he became an accomplished guitarist and played all of his life. Being a part of a family with four boys, go carts, motorcycles and fast cars were a constant fixture in Larry's life. Larry graduated in 1972 from McLain High School. He worked his adult life as a cement mason and did exceptional work. Larry is survived by his son Jason and wife Shannon, of Broken Arrow, OK; granddaughter, Ashlyn Marie Leak; his father, Glenn and wife Juanita of Meeker, OK; brothers, Darrell Leak and wife Michelle, of Owasso, OK, Gary Leak of Tulsa, OK and David Leak, of Tulsa, OK.
Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Lillie. Funeral Services for Larry will be at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 15th at the Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel. Internment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Tulsa.
