Obituary
Larry Lee Zankel, age 63, died Monday, August 1, 2011, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born September 2, 1947 to Harry and Evelyn Rosenthal in Omaha, Nebraska. He was well liked by all who knew him and his sense of humor brought joy to all. He was the owner of Diamond Jack's Restaurant.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Linda Tree. He is survived by his wife Nancy, daughter Marnie Mendlowitz and husband Louis, of York, PA, daughter Dennie Zankel and son Jamie Zankel, both of Chicago, IL, grandchildren Evelyn and Zoe Mendlowitz, and sister Marlene Johnson of Omaha, NE.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made in his name to www.Clarehouse.org . or [email protected] Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, at B'nai Emunah.
