LEATRICE ABRAHAM JABBOUR

Leatrice Abraham Jabbour was born in Bristow Ok on January 3, 1927, to Marianna and Useph Abraham. She departed this earth from Tulsa, Ok on May 31, 2016. She is survived by her four children, Aida Hatter (Tulsa, OK), Mona Zavzavadjian (Houston, TX), Elias Jabbour (Atlanta, GA), and Antoine Jabbour (Tulsa, OK); as well as her sister Louise Saab (Tulsa, Ok), her Brother Don Abraham and his wife Jackie (Tulsa, OK), and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Marianna, her father, Useph, her sisters, Agnes and Jeanette, and her husband, Ibrahim.
When she was a young child, her family moved to Lebanon from Bristow, OK. There she met her husband, Ibrahim Azar Jabbour, and gave birth to her four children. She was forced to leave war-ridden Lebanon with her two young sons in 1976. Tulsa became her home and she continued to raise her family with love, pride, faith, and respect.
Leatrice was a very godly woman praying her rosary and watching Mass in Arabic daily. She is an active member of St Therese Maronite Catholic Church. A rosary will be prayed in her honor on Friday June 3, 2016 at 7pm at St Therese Maronite Catholic Church. There will be a viewing available that evening beginning at 6pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday June 4, 2016 at 10am at St. Therese Maronite Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes to make donations to Caritas Lebanon/ USA to help the poorest of the Middle-East without discrimination.
