Obituary

Leo B. Graff
Leo was born March 30, 1921 in Harrah, OK, one of 10 children of Max Graff and Josephine Skropka Graff. Leo helped his parent's farm on 160 acres of land, raising general crops such as cotton, corn and small grains using a wheel type tractor and horse drawn plows. They also raised cattle, hogs, mules and other livestock. Leo left the farm and joined the Air Force in August of 1942 where he served in New Guinea, the Philippines and Japan as an airplane and engine mechanic on all types of military aircraft in his 3-1/2 years of service. He was honorably discharged in 1946 after receiving the Philippine Liberation ribbon, with one star and the good conduct medal. After his service to our country was completed, he moved to Nashville, TN where he joined one of his brothers to start upholstery fabrics distributorship. It was there he met the love of his life Ruby Rice, whom he affectionately nicknamed "Rusty" because of her beautiful auburn hair. They married Feb. 21, 1947. Leo and Rusty moved to Oklahoma in 1951 where Leo and now 3 of his brothers founded and operated Oklahoma Upholstery Supply, which is still family owned and operated today. Leo is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Rusty; one daughter, Debbie Case and her husband David; one son, Don Graff; his adoring grandchildren Jessica (Case) Childs and her husband Jason; Jeremy Case, his wife Jessica and their son Jacob Andrew Case, Leo's great-grandson.
