Leon M. Cooper, died at the Tulsa Jewish Retirement Center on January 18, 2011. Born on October 22, 1918, in Yonkers, New York, he was the son of Morris Cooper and Kate Kaplan Cooper.
He worked in sales of dental supplies.
He is survived by his sons, Ben Cooper of Paradise Valley, AZ and Matthew Cooper of Tulsa.
Services were held in Brooklyn, New York, January 23, 2011. Interment was at Mount Hope Cemetery in Hasting-on Hudson, New York.
