Leon Troy Patterson, 86, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, November 30, 2017.  He was born in Wewoka, OK, on October 5, 1931 to LaMoin and Florence Patterson.  He graduated from Pryor High School in 1949 and attended Phillips University. He was a Charter Member of DeMolay, in Pryor, OK.  Leon married the love of his life, Rossie Ann Anderson, on June 14, 1952. They had 2 sons, Tim and Terry. He was a wonderful husband and father.

In his early career, Leon worked at Automation Industries. He was a Machinist, Lead Man over Inspection, and finally, Quality Control Manager. In 1972, he became the Small Business Owner and President of KIMS International, an industrial hose and fittings company, retiring in 2004.

He and Rossie, in over 63 years of marriage, enjoyed water-skiing, square and round dancing, and traveling. They were members of First Christian Church, in Tulsa, and were CYF sponsors in their early marriage.  He was an avid OU football fan and passed that passion on to both sons.

Leon was preceded in death by his parents, wife Rossie, son Terry, sister Hazel Hirzel, and brother James Patterson. He is survived by brother Delbert Patterson, sister Gwen Couch, son Tim, daughter-in-law Kerri, and granddaughters Regan and Lindsey, as well as cherished nieces, nephews and cousins.      Funeral service will be Thursday, December 7th, 2:00pm.  Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel, 3612 E. 91st St. South, Tulsa.
