Lillie Ester Smith, age 88, passed from this life on August 3, 2010 in Tulsa.   She was born on July 11, 1922 in Henrietta, Oklahoma to Joseph and Cora (King) Cron.  Lillie atttend Slick High School and later married William Hamilton Smith on July 6, 1940, in Sapulpa, OK.  He preceded her in death on July 28, 2008.  Lillie attended Rhema Bible College in Broken Arrow and worked at Modern Bindery as a laborer.

Lillie is survived by daughters, Beverly June Kirkwood and Sandra Kay Smith, both of Tulsa; sisters, Joan Blain and Norma Splawn, both from Konawa, OK;  grandson Ralph Gordon Harden of Sand Springs, OK;  granddaughter Tammy Whitely of Oklahoma City, OK; four great-grandchildren, Alicia Brooke Harden, of Sand Springs, Cody  Gordon Harden of Tulsa, Lacy Dianne Harden of Sand Springs, and Tara Kay Shaw of Oklahoma City; and one great-great-granddaughter, Riley Thomas Brady of Sand Springs.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband William Smith.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 6, 2010 at Magnolia Memorial Gardens in Bristow, OK.  Officiating will be Pastor Ann Weaver.
