Linda Erickson Graham of Tulsa passed beautifully and peacefully on August 13, 2025, just days before her 94th birthday on August 20th.
Linda was born with a spirit full of love, curiosity, adventure and a witty sense of humor. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, someone who left a mark on every life she touched.
Her journey began in Tulsa, where she attended Central High School, and later continued at the University of Oklahoma. It was there she met her first husband, David Morgan. Together they shared two daughters, Lynn Morgan Gantt (Kevin) of Tulsa and Jan Morgan Stanley of Idaho. During this time, Linda discovered her passion for Skeet Shooting-a sport in which she excelled, becoming ranked 26th in the nation.
It was at a later Skeet Shooting competition that Linda met Gene Bouse of Oklahoma City. He challenged her to a shootout, which she won-a victory that led not only to a trophy, but also to a marriage. Together they shared a daughter, Leigh Bouse DeSimone (Dominick) of Broken Arrow. Linda and Gene enjoyed hunting and the great outdoors.
Linda was affectionately known as "Gram Graham" by her four grandchildren: Austin and Tyler Stanley (Idaho and Colorado), Matthew Gantt (Tennessee), and Alexis Clark (Oklahoma City).
Later in life, Jack Graham entered her world, bringing with him a tackle box, a zest for life, a wonderful sense of humor, adventure, and his loving children-Johnny, Gary, and Nita. Their families blended seamlessly, creating a large and joyful circle that grew even stronger over the years, until Jack's passing in 2011.
Linda had a gift for creativity and an eye for beauty. Known for her talent in decorating, she was featured in several publications. Her adventurous spirit took her far, even riding a camel in Egypt, chasing a dream of being a "frustrated archaeologist." She brought together an amazing collection from around the world-and from just about every estate sale within twenty miles - of Snuff Boxes, Netsukes and Asian treasures.
For the last 13 years of her life, Linda found a joyful community at Prairie Rose/Asher Point. She played countless games of Bridge, sang with the Lumieres, and brought light and laughter to her many friends and neighbors.
Our family extends our deepest gratitude to the staff at Asher Point, Perfect Fit Home Health and Complete Hospice, for the kindness, care, and love they showed her. Nancy, Cindy, Gabby, Nia, Zee, Shay, Emily, AnnMarie, Lynzi...thank you.
Linda lived a long and remarkable life. She taught us how to embrace joy, to live with curiosity, and to love without hesitation.
Fly high to the heavens, Mom. We love you.
