Obituary

Linda Ann Haddock Poteet was born on December 9, 1942 in Sperry, Oklahoma to
Edgar W. Haddock and Dale Marie Haddock. She passed away on Thursday, July 26,
2012 due to medical complications following a hemorrhagic stroke suffered in January
of this year.

Linda was a graduate of Bentonville High School in Bentonville, Arkansas.
Linda attended the University of Arkansas where she met her future husband Robert W.
Poteet. After their wedding, Linda moved to Stillwater, Oklahoma in support her
husband's continuing education and worked a variety of jobs while he attended the
College of Veterinary Medicine, at Oklahoma State University.

Linda was instrumental
in building her husband's practice, becoming the Corporate Vice President of
Cedarwood Veterinary Clinic in Tulsa. Many will remember Linda as the friendly face
greeting clients as they arrived at the veterinary clinic.

Linda was an animal lover, having many beloved pets during her life, with a particular
fondness for chihuahuas. She was an avid soccer fan attending many soccer games in
which her four daughters or her husband participatedii. Linda was active in youth soccer serving as the Registrar for the Central Tulsa Soccer Association in the 1980's. Later in life, Linda enjoyed traveling and going on cruises.

Linda is survived by her husband of forty-eight years, Dr. Robert W. Poteet, her four
daughters and their spouses, Lysa Fraizer and her husband Allen Fraizer, of Tulsa,
Jayme Poteet and James Michael Denney, of Houston, TX, Erin Moini and Hoss Moini,
of Edmond, OK, Dr. Robyn Poteet, of San Antonio, TX, her five grandchildren, Zachary
Fraizer, Adam Fraizer, Carlin Denney, Taryn Denney, Sebastian Moini, her sister, Margie
Dale Perry of Taos, New Mexico, her brother Edgar "Woody" Haddock and his wife
Marianne of Springdale, AR, her sister Alicia "Lesa" Haddock Moody and her husband,
Sheriff Leroy Moody, of Sinton, TX.

Friends can honor Linda's memory with contributions to the Muscular Dystrophy
Association or to Clarehouse in Tulsa.

Viewing will be Monday, 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., and the family will receive friends Monday, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel. Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel. Interment will be 2:00 p.m., at Sperry Rest Haven Cemetery.
