Lisa Louise Flusche' Moran, 66, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully in her home of 36 years on February 3, 2017.
Lisa was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on December 18, 1950, to Frank August and Anita Louise (Gray) Flusche'. She graduated from Bishop Kelly High School and continued on to receive a Bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University and a Juris Doctorate from The University of Tulsa Law School. She was a member of The Oklahoma Bar Association and worked as a Real Estate Attorney for over 25 years for several law firms and title companies. She volunteered for several groups throughout her life. She served as both a member and past President of the Gillies, a volunteer organization of Gilcrease Museum. Additionally, she volunteered for both the Parkinson's Foundation Board and Legal Aid of Tulsa.
In her early twenties she had the opportunity to live abroad in Seoul, South Korea which fueled a passion for traveling. Later in her life, she took every opportunity to travel domestically and internationally, always with a camera in hand. She enjoyed sharing her travels with family and friends by hosting dinners highlighting her experiences and showing pictures from her adventures. She appreciated the opera, works of art, cooking and gardening. She made her home a sanctuary, proudly displaying her art, photos and antiques. She happily invited friends and family into her home and treated them as honored guests.
She credited her parents for fostering her strong work ethic, sense of family and the value of education. She believed in acts of service, gratitude, and honesty and worked diligently to pass those values on to her children. She was a devoted and loving mother who encouraged her children to follow their passions and travel the world. She had an infectious laugh and enjoyed being around people who had a great sense of humor.
She loved having options, believing a person has as many options as they give themselves.
