Lois E. Sullivan 101, of Boise, Idaho passed away September 23, 2010. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, at 1:30pm, October 5, 2010, at Memorial Park; 51st and Memorial, Tulsa, OK, with a viewing at Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel, Tuesday, at 9:00am-12:00pm, October 5, 2010, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 1402 S. Boulder, Tulsa, OK. Lois was born December 26, 1908, in Opolis, Kansas, to Samuel E. and Effie Norris Johnson. She grew up in Opolis, and graduated from Pittsburg State University in 1929, in Pittsburg, KS. Her first employment was as a teacher in Neosho Falls, KS, where she met a dashing young man, owner of a Ford Model A Roadster, complete with a rumble seat. Romance blossomed and she became the bride of Delbert (JD) Sullivan in 1933. Their son, John Kent, was born in 1936. Lois and Delbert were married 57 years, until Delbert's death in 1991. Lois and Delbert were members of the Sandusky Christian Church in Tulsa, OK. During their 57 plus years in Tulsa, Lois assisted Delbert in the operation of service stations at 11th and Lewis (Phillips) 15th and Harvard (Texaco) and 11th and Florence Place (Texaco). In 1996, Lois moved to Boise, Idaho to be near her son and family. Lois enjoyed bible study, "The Best Family in the World", games, sports on T.V., and saw beauty in most anything. She also enjoyed playing the piano and organ. Lois is survived by her son, Kent (Barbara) Sullivan, Boise, ID, granddaughter, Shari (Jim) Jenkins, Bothell, WA, grandson, Steve Sullivan, Boise, ID, great-granddaughter; Jessica Shelby Jenkins, Bothell, WA, great-great-granddaughter, Rheya Inthamala, Bothell, WA.
